You may vote online or download the ballot and either bring it to Video and Game Day or mail it in. All ballots must be received no later than November 27, 2007. Please submit only one ballot. Awards will be presented at the MARRC Annual Meeting and Awards Banquet on January 26, 2008 in McLean, VA.

October 27, 2007 - MARRC your calendar... Video and Game Day is set for Saturday, November 10, 2007 and it's FREE to all MARRC members! New this year: It’s an all-day event! There will be a cookout at noon and pizza after 6 pm. Munchies will be served all day.

September 25, 2007 - Four seats on the Executive Committee (EC) are up for election in 2008. This 9-member committee oversees the administrative operations of the club, which currently includes 7 operating groups, 21 general committees and 5 executive level committees. Any MARRC member in good standing may be nominated to run for a seat on the EC, provided that five fellow MARRC members in good standing nominate the person in writing to the MARRC Secretary by October 31, 2007. September 25, 2007 - The MARRC Awards Committee needs you! After many years of coordinating the annual awards, it is time for me to pass the reins to someone new. We need a new Committee Chair, as well as more people to participate as committee members.

This is the committee that chooses the items to award to volunteers at the banquet in recognition of time worked during the year--in other words, this is where the MARRC jackets and other goodies come from. So if you have ever wished you had gotten a different award, or have ideas for what should be given as awards, this is the committee for you.

This committee also oversees the voting process for the awards that are voted on by the membership and awarded at the banquet.

Please let me know if you are willing to help make sure that MARRC awards continue to provide the quality recognition we have come to expect over the years. Thanks in advance for your help!

May 1, 2007 - Calling all cooks!!! If you or someone you know likes to cook, we need your help! One of the most important jobs on any race weekend is making sure we have two lunches and one dinner for our volunteers over the weekend. MARRC will pay for the food, but we need people to plan and cook the meals at the track. We need as many volunteer cooks as we can get! We also need one person who is willing to be the Café Coordinator, to coordinate the schedule of the volunteer cooks over the racing season. Please contact if you know anyone who may be interested.

June 8, 2006 - Robert Jensen broke the overall motorcycle lap record for Summit Point Raceway on May 29th in an exciting ASRA Unlimited Grand Prix race. Piloting his GSX-R1000 to a blazing 1:13.922 lap time, he dropped the previous track record held by Tray Batey (1:14.085).
