May 23, 2006 - MARRC member Mike Allsup wishes to pass on the following words of thanks:
I want to thank everyone for the many kindnesses extended to me during my recent (extensive 14 hour) spinal surgery and continuing recuperation, and my special thanks to the club for the very gracious get-well card. You are all great and I am proud to be associated with you. My surgeons at University Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama, tell me that I cannot ride at all (not even my toy 250 Rebel) until the end of April. I can try track days in June, but I cannot race until at least September (got moved back from August). I hope to see some of you at the track before then, but jealously will be evident in Kawasaki green! Thank you again. Be safe and be fast. - Mike
