Training Committee Plans for 2004

Training Committee chairperson Sonia Stoy announces opportunities on the committee.

The Training Committee's primary focus is the Cornerworker School, which is provided every Saturday there are motorcycle races at Summit. Committee members participate in updating the design and content of the curriculum and training materials, and may be trained as instructors of the Saturday course. The committee also oversees the Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) Program, and coordinates and schedules CISM training courses.

Membership is open to any active member, but if we ever have a vote, you have to have worked as a cornerworker for at least one day in the previous season. From the committee members, we will select facilitators who will actually conduct the Saturday classes.
